Applications Are Open for the 2026-2027 Adopt A School Program
We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026–2027 Adopt-A-School Program!
Through this program, the DeBartolo Family Foundation partners with Title 1 schools in Hillsborough County and the Metro Nashville area to provide meaningful support, resources, and opportunities that enhance the student and educator experience.
During the 2025–2026 school year, we were proud to partner with two incredible schools and invest in projects that made a lasting impact.
Woodbridge Elementary School
Our partnership focused on creating an engaging, supportive environment for both students and staff. A special highlight of the year was collaborating with the Pinellas Technical College Interior Design program, where students and their professor helped design enhancements for Woodbridge Elementary’s therapy and meeting room. Together, we funded courtyard enhancements, a therapy and meeting room renovation, a poster maker, and a hydration station for teachers. We also provided student t-shirts, growth awards, school store items, and funded enrichment experiences including a LEGOLAND field trip and a therapy session with Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures. Throughout the year, we celebrated educators with appreciation gifts, staff breakfasts, spirit shirts, and special events, including a Froyo ice cream truck visit.
Johnson Alternative Learning Center
Our partnership centered on expanding classroom resources and creating new learning opportunities for students. We provided classroom technology, podcast kits, 3D printers, photography equipment, instructional supplies, globes, classroom furniture, and student and staff incentives. We also helped renovate the teacher lounge in partnership with students from Tennessee State University and recognized educators throughout the year with appreciation gifts and celebrations.
Every partnership is unique because every school’s needs are unique. We work closely with school leadership to identify opportunities that will have the greatest impact on students, teachers, and the overall school community.
