Introducing Our Adopt-A-School Program for Title I Schools
Our Foundation is committed to providing students resources to help prepare them for the demands of the world outside of school doors, and we are excited to announce our newest program – Adopt-A-School – that will fund enrichment and support programs for students, faculty, and staff at Title 1 schools. More than 162 schools in Hillsborough County are classified Title I schools, with a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students where at least 75% of those students qualify for free or reduced price meals.
During the 2022-2023 school year, The DeBartolo Family Foundation has adopted Mort Elementary in Tampa, Fla. We have donated backpacks and school supplies, teacher grants and $25,000 to be used towards building community with extra-curricular and social experiences for students.
If you know a Title I school that would be interested in our program for the 2023-2024 school year, please refer them to the application on our website. To qualify, schools must be designated a Title 1 school in Hillsborough County. Deadline for submissions is May 19, 2023.
